Welcome to Derby Hills Elementary! The school has a rich tradition of being a distinguished and dynamic place to learn. At Derby Hills, the staff is dedicated to helping our students learn and develop the skills they need to succeed in an ever-changing world. Derby Hills Elementary has an Early Childhood classroom and three sections of grades kindergarten through fifth grade. We also have several special services available at Derby Hills. Some of those services include Speech, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Gifted, Interrelated Classrooms, Reading and Math Specialists, and English Language Learner services. Students have five “special” classes that consist of Art, Music, Library, Physical Education, and Technology.
There are several ways to get involved as a parent, guardian, community member, and/or volunteer. Whether it be serving in our PTO (Parent Teacher Organization), volunteering in your child’s classroom, reading to your child every day at home, or helping with field trips and special events, we invite you to be active in the educational experience. We are better together.
Thank you for giving us the honor of being an influential part of your child’s development.
