We place value on positive behavior!

• Dragon Assemblies: The entire school gathers together to participate in fun, interactive learning experiences focused on a character trait each month.
• Celebrating Students: Staff acknowledge positive behaviors regularly. One way students are recognized is through Braggin Dragons - a card given to students for kind, smart or important behavior. Students get entered into a drawing for recognition and a shout out on the daily announcements to “Come on Down” to the office for a special prize. 
• Following The Pledge of Allegiance, each day, we recite, “We are smart,” “We are kind,” and “We are important,” which reminds students and staff of our learning dispositions as well as our school motto. 

Technology Integration

• Students have access to iPads (1:2 Early Childhood and 1st) and Chromebooks (1:1 in 2nd-5th grade).
• SMART Boards, Apple TVs and more are integrated into the learning in all classrooms.
• Coding clubs, Sphero clubs, and other technological opportunities are available through MCAST grants as well as building-sponsored activities that infuse 21st century skills with technological opportunities.
